What happens at the meetings?

The overall aim of the programme is to give members a forum in which they can explore different approaches to writing and learn from each other in a friendly and supportive group.

The aim of this programme is to offer opportunities to focus on different aspects of creative writing, and to have constructive feedback.

Some meetings will be developmental workshops led by published authors. These may being run in collaboration with Moniack Mhor, Scotland’s Creative Writing Centre, or through the Scottish Association of Writers who provide workshops and speakers.

At others, members will be invited to share their experience of such challenges as deciding on what viewpoint to take, and then share work in which this has been a prime consideration. Suggested preparation for each meeting will be given.
